Close the game, right click "SR2_pc.exe" in your game files, Run as administrator.
Heres how you can find your game files on Steam.
Download and install the redistributable files found on the Juiced Patch front page
in the Pre-Requisites section.
Run JuicedSteamXDel.bat file that you've moved to the game files with the rest of Juiced Patch as administrator.
Or turn off the "UseFixedXAudio" setting in the juiced.ini file.
Juiced Patch should net you atleast less that 2 crashes PER playthrough (Prologue to Epilogue). Any crash is non-negotiable but with the correct Juiced Patch set up you should not be crashing often at all.
Please report to the Kobraworks Discord if you are crashing more often than you should and you've tried these fixes.
If you get this popup in the main menu:
Go to your install directory, it should look something like
G:\Saints Row 2
or C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Saints Row 2
Right click in the blank space and select "New" and then "Text Document"
You should see "New Text Document" or "New Text Document.txt" in your folder, right click on the file, go to "show more options", then "rename", it should highlight the title in blue, type GOTR/gotr and hit enter.
The popup will disappear and your game should work now!

There can be a multitude of reasons for this, the most common one is that the host needs to Port Forward 4200 on UDP/TCP.
The "Please Wait..." screen could also be due to just poor connection between the host and the person joining
Or a mod mismatch, make sure you both have the same mods otherwise this can happen (also mismatches can cause game crashes!)
Disable "UseFixedXAudio" in the juiced.ini file.
